Selling spares is a search problem. EasyAs! carries multiple codes against one item — your code, the OE number, the aftermarket alternate — so the part is found however the customer asks for it, including when they read you a number off the old one. Supersessions point an obsolete code at the line that replaced it.
Most spares counters are half trade. Trade accounts carry their own price list, credit terms, statements and order numbers, and quotes convert to invoices without re-capturing lines. If you run a workshop as well, job cards pull parts straight off the same stock file so the counter and the bay never disagree.
